The RE-IMAGINE-CROPS Consortium Has Grown!

The RE-IMAGINE-CROPS Consortium Has Grown! We are pleased to welcome our new partner from Portugal, NOVA.ID FCT, to the RE-IMAGINE-CROPS consortium.

We are excited to welcome our new partner from Portugal, NOVA.ID FCT, to the RE-IMAGINE-CROPS consortium.

A New Work Package Through Horizon Europe Hop-on Funding

With additional funding from the Horizon Europe Hop-on Facility call, RE-IMAGINE-CROPS will add an entirely new work package driven by the expertise of our new partner, led by Filipe Natálio at NOVA FCT University. This work package will be carried out in close collaboration with our teams at the University of Turku and the University of Teramo.

Exploring Wheat Responses to Nitrogen Treatment

This work package will generate time-resolved phenotypic, metabolomic, transcriptomic, and physiological profiles of wheat plants exposed to nitrogen fertilisation and our novel multimodal tracer. The resulting multi-omics data will be used to enhance the interpretation of imaging results from our novel imaging device and refine tracer development. This work strengthens the research capabilities across the consortium as we work toward the successful implementation of our in-field proof-of-concept.

More to Come

We’ll be publishing articles highlighting how each consortium partner contributes their expertise to the project in greater detail. Watch this space!
